Art

Our primary students learn foundational painting techniques like identifying types of brushes, using different brush strokes, and mixing paint to get the right colors. Students are taught units on artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Piet Mondrian, and Pablo Picasso. Each unit incorporates lessons, books, and student artwork.

Our elementary and middle school students receive art at least once a week. Students learn technique and expression with a variety of mediums.
